For those of you who happen to teach bass, and/or happen to teach professionally, and/or happen to teach quite a bit professionally, I might be able to save you several hours of set-up and pack-up time each week (and what will I get in return...?! ;)
When I go to one of the colleges, music stores, private students, etc..., I bring this neat, little, and light weight "tool box":

Once I discovered, how long it took me every time that I taught to...
figure out how to run 2 basses (or more) into one amp input
control those 2 basses' volume independently
have a way to add bass and treble to my student's often
cheap passive basses with medieval strings
feed a sequencer into the amp to play along
play back the play-along-tracks of the instructional books
I use
(this might be a good time to drop the name "ed friedland"...)
sometimes find an extra outlet for my students gadgets (Ipod, CD player,...)
and the time to disconnect and pack up all of the above, I decided it's high time for the
(was that one "box" too many...?)
And thus... behold "the box":
here's what I have available in about 5 seconds (!!):

And, yeah, I usually also have an electric tuner in there.
But back to my initial question: "What will I get in return...?"
Enjoy!!
